Electrical services

Everything Infinity Electric does, grouped by the kind of work rather than by price tier. If what you need is not listed, it is still worth the call. The list describes the work, not the limit.

228 services, grouped into 13 areas of work.

Everything here is done by Clint Ehman himself, out of O’Fallon, across a roughly fifty mile radius.

How to read this list

Each service here has its own page because each one is a different question. A panel upgrade and a sub-panel sound alike and are priced completely differently; a Level 1 and a Level 2 charger are different installs for the same car.

The pages say what the work involves, what decides the price, and what you get told along the way. None of them quote a number, because the number depends on a measurement that has not happened yet.

Work that needs a permit gets one. Work that needs an inspection is left ready for it. One person does the diagnosis and the repair, so nothing is lost between a salesman and a technician.

Residential

General house calls: troubleshooting, repairs, maintenance and emergencies, found by measurement rather than by replacing parts.

A new residential breaker panel with its circuits run neatly into a stud wall

11 pages under residential service.

Panels

Services, panels, breakers and the capacity question. Most of these start as something else and end up here, because the panel is where the answer lives.

A densely wired breaker panel open for diagnosis

28 pages under panels & service.

Rewiring

Aluminum branch wiring, knob-and-tube, two-wire circuits and whole-house work. Age alone is not a verdict; what tests sound can stay.

Aged, cloth-sheathed wiring crowded over an old breaker panel

13 pages under wiring & rewiring.

Safety

Inspections, code corrections, diagnostics and the symptoms that do not wait: heat, burning smell, arcing, partial power loss.

A finished 200 amp panel with every circuit labeled by hand on the directory

24 pages under safety & code.

Outlets

Outlets, switches, dedicated circuits and protection in wet locations. The cheapest safety work in a house.

16 pages under outlets & circuits.

Lighting

Recessed layouts, fixtures, dimming and outdoor light. Spacing and the dimmer match are what separate a good install from an expensive one.

A commercial space with new recessed and track lighting under a dark ceiling

15 pages under lighting.

Generators

Generators, transfer switches, interlocks and batteries, sized to the loads you actually need running rather than the whole house.

20 pages under backup power.

Charging

Level 1 and Level 2 charging, sized against the service you already have. A charger is the load that most often makes a house look short on capacity, and a service upgrade is only one of three honest answers.

29 pages under ev charging.

Appliances

Ranges, ovens, dryers, water heaters, HVAC circuits and spa wiring, matched to the appliance data plate rather than to what came out.

27 pages under appliances & hvac.

Fans

Ceiling, bath, attic and whole-house fans. The box, the bracing and the duct are the job; the fan is the easy part.

A finished basement hallway with new recessed lighting

3 pages under fans & ventilation.

Automation

Switches, thermostats, doorbells and low-voltage runs. The deciding question is what still works when the internet does not.

17 pages under smart home & low voltage.

Remodels

Additions, basements, kitchens, baths and new construction. Rough-in has one window, between demolition and drywall.

15 pages under remodel & new construction.

Commercial

Rentals, multi-family, turnovers and commercial tenant work, sequenced around occupancy with documentation per unit.

10 pages under property & commercial.

Questions worth asking first.

Can I use a generator cord into a dryer outlet?

No. That back-feeds the utility and endangers the crews working your line. A transfer switch or a listed interlock is what makes that physically impossible.

Will the power be off all day?

A panel change means the service is off while the work happens, usually most of a working day. You will be told the window before the day starts, and the utility and inspection timing are arranged around it.

There is a burning smell near my panel. What should I do?

Treat that as urgent. Turn off what you safely can and call. Heat and smell at a panel or outlet are the two symptoms that should never wait for a scheduled visit.

How long have you been doing this?

Clint has seventeen years in the trade and has been running his own shop out of O’Fallon since 2022.

What do your reviews say?

5.0 from 94 Google reviews, and A+ accreditation with the BBB held since 2022. The reviews are on the reviews page with links to where each was posted.

Not sure which one you need?

Describe the symptom rather than guessing the cause. That is usually enough to say what the visit involves before anyone is booked.
